Helping individuals and family members through disruptions is often an important part of repairing family life. When you feel sick, you go to the doctor.  When you feel confused, stressed, unhappy, alone, unloved, and overwhelmed, you can seek the help of a therapist to help understand and cope with those strong feelings.  

Prenatal, Pregnancy, & Postpartum

Fortunately there is an increased understanding of the emotional toll to mothers and fathers during this time period. Supportive listening and guidance of a compassionate, knowledgable therapist can be helpful and sometimes necessary to get a good start for the whole family.  

Toddlers & Children

Sometimes the joys of childhood are impacted with family dynamics and patterns that rupture a child’s healthy development. A child's behavior is often their way of telling us that something is bothering them. Playing in a safe, therapeutic environment  may help ease some of the big feelings that children express in behavior.
